Merritt and Simmons's Interactive Trial Simulations

This package includes seven simulated courtroom trials in which students play the role of either a trial lawyer or judge. Students must recognize inadmissible evidence, object (or rule) in a timely manner, and offer the proper grounds for exclusion. The simulations, played online, offer feedback on each objection, which helps students review or refresh their knowledge of evidence. Students may play each simulation as often as they wish, and they can review a transcript of the trial when they are done with the simulation. The simulations are suitable for use in Clinics, Evidence or Trial Advocacy courses, or any other setting in which students must use the Rules of Evidence.
