Description

This casebook combines a historically-oriented account of the Supreme Court’s major constitutional cases with in-depth doctrinal surveys of Federalism, Separation of Powers, Due Process, and Equal Protection. It is designed to facilitate the introductory Constitutional Law courses taught in most law schools, rather than to attempt a comprehensive survey of the subject. The casebook does offer considerable flexibility, however, in calibrating the balance between structural issues and individual rights.
