Although many fine texts on Lawyering, Professional Identity Formation, and Lawyers as Leaders have appeared in recent years, Beginner’s Wisdom is uniquely designed to serve as a companion piece. Organized by weekly themes that accompany new students through the ups and downs of the first year, the book offers inspirational readings, analytical and study-skills tips (called “Tuesday Tool of the Week”), thought-provoking questions, and—most importantly—space to answer those questions in writing, to be preserved and returned to over time.
